From a DIY Website to Page One
A Tulsa lawn care company outgrew its do-it-yourself website. Here’s how a rebuilt, SEO-optimized site turned local search into their strongest lead channel without disrupting the sales tools they already relied on.
The Challenge
Boomin Greens Lawn Care had already taken the first step most home service businesses skip. They had a website. It had been built in-house on Go High Level, the platform they were using to manage leads, quotes, and customer relationships.
But a DIY website built primarily as a sales funnel wasn’t built to compete in local search. It lacked the technical foundation, content depth, and on-page structure needed to rank for the searches that actually drive lawn care business: homeowners in Tulsa typing “lawn care near me” at the exact moment they’re ready to hire.
The challenge wasn’t just visibility. Boomin Greens didn’t want to rebuild their sales process from scratch. Their Go High Level workflows for quoting and managing customers were already working. Any new website needed to solve for search without disrupting the tools running the business day to day.
The Approach
Nozak Consulting rebuilt the Boomin Greens website on WordPress, giving the business a platform built to be found not just to collect leads. That meant a proper local SEO foundation: optimized on-page content targeting the specific terms Tulsa homeowners search for, clean technical structure, and pages built around real service areas and services rather than a generic template.
Rather than forcing a full platform switch on the sales side, the Go High Level integrations Boomin Greens relied on for managing quotes and customers were maintained through the transition. The result was a site that could rank connected to a CRM the client already knew how to use.
The Result
Since the new site launched, organic search performance has climbed steadily, from a near-flat baseline to over 1.51K clicks and 200K impressions across a 16-month window, with the sharpest growth beginning in the months following the WordPress relaunch.
Two things stand out in the search data. First, Boomin Greens now owns its own name in search ranking at an average position of 1.5 for “boomin greens lawn care,” meaning the brand is winning the click almost every time someone searches for them directly. Second, and more importantly for new customer acquisition, the site now ranks on page one for the non-branded, high-intent terms that matter most: the searches from homeowners who don’t yet know the Boomin Greens name but need a lawn care company right now.
| Search Term | Clicks | Impressions | Avg. Position |
|---|---|---|---|
| boomin greens lawn care | 164 | 488 | 1.5 |
| lawn care tulsa | 99 | 11,748 | 8.5 |
| lawn mowing tulsa | 55 | 3,451 | 9.1 |
| lawn service tulsa | 42 | 7,528 | 9.1 |
| lawn mowing service tulsa | 23 | 3,733 | 16.6 |
| tulsa lawn care | 15 | 6,319 | 16.4 |
That last point matters most. “Lawn care Tulsa” alone generated nearly 12,000 impressions. A term Boomin Greens wasn’t positioned to compete for on their old DIY site. Ranking on page one for these terms means the business now shows up at the exact moment Tulsa homeowners are searching for the service, not just when they already know who to call.
